in a nutshell

Charpente Nicodex was founded in 2001 and was taken over in 2018 by two young entrepreneurs.

Today, about thirty employees are involved in the company’s development, including several apprentices. Our aim is to maintain a high level of safety and expertise, and to pass on these company values to our younger generations.

From the individual chalet to the ski lift station, as well as the small collective building in the mountains, we work with our clients on all these projects, providing they have something to do with wood.

Working environment & Infrastructure

Our company is proud of its homely atmosphere.

Most of our employees live less than 10km from our head office, and we nurture this local sense of belonging. We are committed to offering our employees a high-quality social contract, allowing them to train, thrive and enjoy a standard of living that is consistent with the cost of living in our touristic and attractive region.

Nonetheless, the demands of the management team are high, and all the staff must meet the technical and economic challenges that are offered to them.

We want our employees to feel accomplished in their work. That’s why we always listen to them and try to help them as best as we can when they’re struggling.

The company is located in Arâches-la-Frasse. It includes a wood workshop, a zinc workshop, a shop, a large storage area and a design office covering 1200m2. In terms of equipment, a dozen vehicles and a crane truck make it possible for us to work on site.

All our teams are equipped with the latest portable equipment and vehicles.

Our company covers a wide range of professions such as carpenters, roofers, zinc workers, drivers, handlers, design office managers, administrative managers, site supervisors, etc.
